Two Years Running, BBM One Price Is at 131 Points

Techtimes.Info, JAKARTA – On January 1, 2019 tomorrow, the Indonesia One Price Program for fuel oil (BBM) commodities is exactly two years old.

The head of BPH Migas Fanshurullah Asa or who is often called Ifan noted, until the end of 2018, the distribution of fuel at one price had spread across 131 locations. This number exceeds the overall target of 130 points.

“We have built 131 locations, especially in 3T areas (left behind, leading and outermost). Lastly we built in West Maluku,” Ifan said, familiarly called Fanshurullah Asa, during a press conference at the ESDM Ministry Building, Monday (12/31/2018) .

In 2018, 74 SPBU stations have been operated. While the 7 previous points have been operated since 2017. Of the 74 points, 68 are built by PT Pertamina (Persero), the rest is channeled by AKR.

In detail, the one-price fuel distribution is spread in 131 sub-districts, 90 districts and 26 provinces.

The most abundant islands are BBM, Kalimantan, as many as 33 points.
Followed by Sumatra with 29 points, Papua and West Papua as many as 26 points, 14 in Sulawesi, in NTB and NTT as many as 14 points, in Maluku and North Maluku as many as 11, in Bali 1 point, and 3 points in Java and Madura.

“It can reach the people’s needs of 421,955 family heads,” he explained.

2019 target

Ifan said, the distribution of one price of fuel was arrested reaching 160 points in the upcoming 2019. The construction of gas stations, he continued, will be accelerated until next June.

“So the remaining 29. Pertamina is ready for 2 locations, on Maybrat Papua and another in NTT. The rest will be completed, the remaining 29 will be inaugurated before June 2019. So we can speed it up,” Ifan explained.

In 2019, the government focused on building in Maluku, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua.

“If the regional government has a one-price BBM proposal, we can evaluate it. One price BBM target in 2018 has been fulfilled. One price BBM for 2019, 9 locations in Kalimantan. 6 in NTB, 9 locations in NTT, Maluku and North Maluku 5,” he explained.

Ifan said, the even distribution of fuel prices is in accordance with the mandate of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 36 of 2016 that justice in the energy sector, especially in the supply and distribution of fuel and fairness of fuel prices can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people, especially those in the 3T region.

Thus, people who previously bought BBM for Rp. 40,000-100,000 per liter, can now be purchased at a price of Rp. 6,450 per liter for Premium and Rp 5,150 per liter for diesel fuel.

“This program has an impact on strengthening people’s purchasing power for fuel needs for transportation, agriculture, fisheries, and so on so that the reconstruction of residents in the regions can accelerate,” he concluded.
